THE
PRACTICE
The
most comprehensive gynecological check up :
- A detailed medical history is taken by Dr. Wilson, during which you
can discuss your problems and ask questions.
- Physical and gynecological examination advanced Pap. Smear studies,
in the form of liquid cytology.
- Early ovarian cancer detection with highly specific ultrasonic probe.
- Transvaginal sonogram is included in the check up. This allows us
to visualize uterine tumors, polyps,early intrauterine pregnancy, causes
of vaginal bleeding, endometriosis, ovarian cysts or polycystic ovaries.
Pending upon the findings at sonography , endometrial biopsy is performed
selectively.
This type of examination is of
paramount importance in :
- overweight women in whom pelvic organs cannot be easily palpable.
- post-menopausal women, especially those with narrowed vagina.
